Junior Adriahna Karr met virtually (due to COVID restrictions) with Kimberly Carter, Senior Associate, Project Manager at Stantec Environmental Consulting for a virtual job shadow. Kim and Adriahna talked about the importance of science classes, colleges, majors and what it's like to truly "work in the field." Great job, Adriahna!



In honor of National Career Signing Day, we recognize Tanner Graves for obtaining employment right after graduation. He has recently been offered a full-time position as Maintenance Coordinator at Tin Ceiling USA & signed his letter of intent alongside his family & classmates.

Junior Ashli Allen wants to be a Veterinarian when she grows up! Yesterday, she spent the entire day job shadowing at Norton Road Veterinary Hospital under Dr. Elizabeth Logan and staff. Ashli spent part of her day in the surgery room, where she observed an orchidectomy (cat neutering) and a leg amputation procedure! Great job, Ashli! On Friday, April 16, Westfall had a virtual Future Problem Solvers Ohio State Bowl in the WMS library. Seven teams, 27 students, competed against teams from across the state of Ohio. They were invited to compete based on their qualifying booklet about Human Environmental Impact. For the State Bowl, each team wrote an eleven-page booklet in two hours on the topic of Personalized Medicine.

School Lunch Hero Day showcases the professionals who serve our students each day. This year, our Food Services staff has gone above & beyond the call of duty.
