The mobile clinic will be available on October 12 and October 26 at the following locations and times:

The clinic provides healthcare services for our students, families, community, and staff. Available services include routine check-ups, sports and work permit physicals, immunizations, and physician referrals, as well as mental health support and treatment for common physical ailments such as coughs, sore throats, and asthma.

Join us on September 29 at the Pickaway ESC for an evening focused on supporting our youth and families at Operation Parent: Community Circle.
Food will be available beginning at 5:30 PM, with the conversation starting at 6:00 PM. Vendors will also be set up around the gym, offering families valuable resources, guides, information, and helpful tidbits to support the well-being and success of our youth and families.
We look forward to bringing our community together for an evening of connection, conversation, and support.

Regular attendance plays an important role in student success. Ohio has recently updated its attendance laws to better support families and identify attendance concerns early.
Schools are required to monitor the total amount of instructional time students miss, including full-day absences, late arrivals, and early dismissals. The focus is not only on unexcused absences and truancy, but also on identifying concerns early and supporting students and families who may be at risk of chronic absenteeism.
Under Ohio law, a student is considered chronically absent when they miss 10% of the required instructional time during the school year, regardless of the reason for the absence.
Research consistently shows that regular school attendance is connected to stronger academic outcomes, including success in reading, overall achievement, and graduating from high school.

Ohio recently updated its school attendance law, affecting schools statewide, with a renewed focus on supporting families and intervening early when attendance concerns arise.
Schools will notify families when a student reaches 5% of missed instructional hours. All absences—excused and unexcused—count toward this total. Our goal is to support families and help identify and address barriers to regular attendance.
