DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI
Our graduates go on to do great things. Check out some of their stories below:

Shirley Dunlap Bowser, Class of 1953
Shirley Bowser was born, raised, and has lived in the Westfall School District all her life. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1953 in a class of 11 students. She went on to earn a degree in education from Ohio State University in 1956. She was married to fellow Williamsport High School graduate Cliff Bowser for 58 years. Shirley has served as a school board member, a member of several boards of trustees, instrumental in developing a community foundation, and has been involved in numerous other philanthropic endeavors. Throughout her life, Shirley Bowser has embodied the spirit of giving back. Her work has impacted countless individuals. Though my remarks on Shirley may be short, that in no way reflects her contributions to the Westfall district, the county, the state, and the nation.
Charles Eric "Rick" Metzger, Class of 1974
Rick Metzger grew up on his family’s farm in Pickaway County. His family has always valued two things above all else: education and farming. Rick’s life’s work is a testament to those values. After graduating in 1974 from Westfall High School, Rick attended the Ohio State University, where he majored in Agricultural Education. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 1979. He went on to earn his Master’s Degree in 2000 from Ashland University.

Judy Wolford, Class of 1977
Judy Wolford is a lifelong resident of Pickaway County, born and raised in Perry Township. A 1977 graduate of Westfall High School, she went on to The Ohio State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Dairy Science.
Gary Sharpe, Class of 1965
Gary Sharpe has come a long way since he was one of the first to walk the newly built halls of Westfall High School. Gary was the first president of the student council and a member of the first graduating class of Westfall High School in 1965. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in geography. He received his MBA from Xavier University. In 2016, Xavier presented Mr. Sharpe with an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities. Mr. Sharpe is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Health Care Logistics, with its world headquarters in Circleville, Ohio. This multi-million-dollar healthcare supply company began in a spare bedroom, with the garage serving as both the warehouse and manufacturing facility. Health Care Logistics has expanded to four locations across Central Ohio. Mr. Sharpe and Health Care Logistics remain fervent supporters of Pickaway County and the Westfall community. Westfall High School is proud to count Mr. Sharpe among its graduates and is honored to have him designated as the first recipient of the Westfall High School Distinguished Alumni Award.
